Eddystone Stacking Swivel Question
I just picked up a 1918 Eddystone that is missing the stacking swivel. Was the stacking swivel for a an Eddystone marked with an "E" or were they unmarked? I have been looking at all of the expected locations but haven't found my answer.
I haven't found a swivel except one site showed both the Model of 1917 and the 1903 Springfield as the same piece. So the next question is this correct?
If anyone has one let me know or post a pic so I can see what is correct.
Thanks
Ron

The US Model 1917 stacking swivel is offset to one side the US Model 1903 swivel is centered so no they aren't interchangeable.
See yoopercollector's picture that is what it should look like.
You can get one E marked or unmarked either will work but personally I would want one that is marked.
Believe it or not lots of them show up on eBay sometimes at a reasonable price and are sold marking specific. - Bill

When I got my Eddystone M1917 several years ago it did not have a stacking swivel. I found one at the gun show that was E marked.
