Correct Bayonet Frog for WW1 British gear
Hello All,
I have a P14 (Eddystone) that I was able to locate a Remington Bayonet with scabbard for that does not have the wire hanger like the US issued scabbard later in WW1.
What is the correct bayonet frog to have with the bayonet scabbard.
Thank you!!

There were a few different types of frogs being used. It would depend on what unit you were depicting, it could be leather or canvas. Try this site for some insight. Karkee Web

I did purchase an excellent quality, newly made, reproduction webbing bayonet frog, made to a very high standard, from our very own Forum member, tankhunter. This is suitable for a WW1 British
bayonet and features the additional strap hanging down from the frog. This was about a year or so ago and at the time he had a few available, if I remember correctly. If you would like one and if you ask him nicely he will, no doubt, tell you if he can help you out.
