    Today i picked up a USGI mainspring housing with lanyard loop. The one that came with my pistol had that gay lock device in it. Horrible i tell ya. Over all i am very happy with this pistol.

    I think Kimber still manufactures a "left handed" Model 1911A1 in 45 ACP

    ejection is on the left side like a Walter Model 4, these M1911A1's are produced for left handed shooters
