I may get some kickbacks on my opinion but I slightly disagree with the article, and what most pro-gunners say.

I do not think Peelosi wants guns confiscated. But by registering them, she has this pie-in-the-sky idea that they will then know where every gun is at all times.n.

My Australian acquaintence lived down under when registration laws were passed there. A couple years later, they passed another law, and a policeman knocks on his door and demands certain of his guns - then off to the shredder.

No recourse, and all done "legally".

Registration is just the opening chapter in their book. If all the Liberals in this government who have advocated strong gun control or confiscation stood in a single line, that line would stretch pretty far. And now they have more power and influence than ever before.
