These three carbines were part of a recent estate purchase, one Winchester and two Inland carbines. Its really hard authenticating the M1A1, it seems that for every hard and fast rule there is a contradiction, I have read several websites but I guess what it boils down to is that I am happy regardless. I always wanted a paratrooper, this one is in the 40,000 serial range. The recoil check is an interesting piece that was in a box of smalls, I just put it on for the hell of it. Looking forward to running some rounds down range!
