Can anyone name these Firearms in order from top to bottom and what Caliber they are....Jim..(BAR) isn't this in your Ballpark ? This shouldn't take too long. I have another one I will post with 11 different Military Firearms from different era's. If you have a Story about a particular one that would be nice

So...the top two are probably L1A1s in 7.62, the second down has the early grenade launcher. Then the M14 icon

and a slightly modified probably L1A1 again, with short gas system. The bottom is a slightly cut down M14 with selector, and very short pipe for wider dispersion of auto fire I guess. Seems to have an FN pistol grip attached. The ARs on the right are speculative at best. Love to have a go with all of them though... I do have FN stories...and M14 stories as well actually.

I'd have never guessed Canadian icon

anything...the buttplates are all Aussie I think and they have full body covers. I can't see the rear sights... The short one has the Aussie or UK icon

handguards...you say it's a .22 conversion?

Thats was it says....C1A1 Falk Convert .22. Why have a .22 in Vietnam ? I can see how one can used, but other than that no Information.

Maybe they had like they did in the WW's training with the rook cartridge or a .22 less expensive training shooters than using a full size rifle rounds.

We had the insert that we've all seen discussed here in .22 but we didn't shorten the rifles down because of it nor did we take them anywhere for use besides training. Falk probably does formal conversions for the private sector.

I did find a few more and each one said Falk converted. 22 ....!'ll look for it and post it.

Jim..Here's one that was converted and used in Vietnam. This picture was listed under Rifles of Vietnam.
