Yes, this is Norwegian. It was originally a Model 1894 Krag bayonet. The Norwegians modified them post-WWII for the US M1 Carbine.

According to Per Holmback, the Norwegian designation is M1956 SLK and they made about 31,000 of them.

They were quite common a few years back; but like everything, they're all over the place then you can't find one.
