    I have to say that of all the guns we could and regularly did shoot at Warminster - including the big Barratt and Boys, the Thompson and other nostalgic Stens, the gun the always wound my clock up was the Vickers. Even if it was a bit of a chore setting up, arranging the field firing template, clearing up afterwards and cleaning the gun down.......... Yep, the Vickers was the one. ESPECIALLY when we could get a couple of belts loaded with 5 ball and 1 tracer. That's when you really noticed how slow the old lady was.
