8mm Lebel short range training cartridge
I have seen military training cartridges with reduced loadings in a lot of calibers but have never seen this variation for the 8x50r Lebel cartridge. This is the Mle 1895 2nd Type spherical (lead ball) for reduced loading for use at 15 meters. This example is headstamped 3 18,
any additional information would be appreciated. RobertAttachment 78711

I do this exact same thing with a cast 00 Buck ball (about .328) with Trail Boss or Clays in a 8mm Kropatscheck. Knock out the primer, no case sizing needed for the next loading. Very little leading and satisfactory groups at 50 feet. Thumb press it into the mouth and a slight crimp using a .30 carbine sizer. Cases started out as 8MM Lebel annealed and fire formed.
