This could and maybe should go into the swiss rifle catagory, however this isn't really swiss specific it's more of a general 'what the heck is this'. Anyways, it's a swiss 1911 carbine, nothing special about it really, other than being neat and a good shooter (haven't found one that isn't though) I've had this for a few years and always wondered what In the world these wear points could have been from I figured since I'm in the company of many brilliant people, some of which from near where this gun was made, it's worth asking. Without further avail, please let me know your thoughts on the attached photos.
