Thanks to many of you, I found that I HAD TO HAVE a Swiss
rifle and was able to find a K11 in really good shape (and all matching numbers, including the magazine).
So, thanks for the great information I was able to find on this rifle and make an informed purchase.
Now......
My front sight issues and solution, will be addressed in a separate post

Looked Many Times At Garand Information
I've been looking here for years for information, mostly about my Garand
.
Wood and steel is where it's at, for me.
I've got the Garand, a 1903-A3, and a 1917 that was sporterized probably sometime in the 1960s.

New Friend From Italy
Hi everybody,
like many of you I'm a gun enthusiast with some good military background and a growing passion for milsurps.
I'm more a shooter and reloader than a real collector, but I've got the feeling that I'm slowly drifting that other way too.
I happened to get onto your forum while looking for some hints on how to make trigger jobs on my worst rifles and liked a lot what I found.
There is a lot of knowledge and professionalism on these pages, so I really am looking forward to learn a lot here and, if possible, give a few hints myself (will be difficult, after seeing the level here, but I never give up!).
So....meet you soon here.
Greetings from the today very sunny Friuli (North-East of Italy
).

Hi all just introducing myself. Recently was bite by the Milsurp bug and find myself creeping the pawn and gun shops looking for jewels. Really enjoying learning about the history of these cool specimens.
Thanks all
