I did receive your PM and was very pleased. I have been talking with family about this and have received suggestions from super glue to welding jobs that "you won't know the difference". Not what I wanted to hear. They don't get that the follower was made in 1943. Actually, they don't know what a follower is.
Your response put me at ease. Simple fix it may be, but important it is. I will be happy to send it to you for repair.
BAR and you have expressed what I have found to be true on this forum.
