Going off the bayonet subject a bit....... But, that was a problem with amending the little identification and description cards especially on older stuff. Someone would say something was a Naval pattern something then others would say the Navy didn't have this bit. Another later would say that they did after a certain date and on and on it used to go. Yet again, followed up with letters, sketches and photocopies of stuff that I was meant to be taking on board. Yep........, same response! Card stayed the same!
