Good to see Muffer but I don't remember that nasho handbook. But as I wasn't a Nasho and never went to Kapooka. Was it Kapooka..... I forget a lot of the places now unless they were particularly gruesone, like Shoalwater bay/Canungra where I was eaten alive by anti-pom midges as big as mess tins.

It was nice to see an Owen again at Warminster that hadn't been stripped or cleaned since it came to Englandicon in the late 40's because noone had worked it out properly! Unmodified since the 40's and still in BFA yellow and khaki whereas the ones out there were black.

Something else...... Up there I had a huge boil in my arm pit and as nothing would ever stick there, a soothing plaster was useless. The medic at the RAP just told me to keep my arm slightly raised so that the air could circulate, keep it dry and the Med Officer would lance it the next day or when it was ready. So for the next day I was walking around like a mincer with my hand on my waist. They were a cruel bunch..........
