I still have found no official notification the PH magazine was to be used in the Pattern 14 No2, and there is no instruction for the mods to the rifle to take the magazine.
It's interesting that there seems to be no official instruction to mod the Pattern 14 No2 rifle as I am lucky enough to own examples of both the No1 & No2 rifle and both have had the front of the bolt head face chamfered to allow the use of the Parker Hiscock magazine. The Pattern 14 No2 is all matching with the serial number J52 the barrel is marked DP but is sleeved with AGP PARKER RIFLED at the muzzle.
