    what is the best way to clean the action? it would be nice to see what other marks are hidden under the muck and grime.

    The FE is quite an involved piece as it encompasses the sight block too, probably easier just to get hold of an original example

    WD40 and an old tooth brush will fetch all the crap off Avin...
