The holes appear to match those shown on P215 of "The Crown Jewels" as being for a GF diopter. P212 presents the original Swedishdocument that permitted the "Frivilliga Skytterörelsen", i.e. volunteer shooters associations, who used rifles loaned from the military, to mount diopter sights. But these sights had to be removed when the rifle was returned to military stock.
