7.62 Nato Ball
Last week I collected some 170 rds of 7.62 ball ammunition some French
, some from I believe Singapore I tried some yesterday and all went well, in with this stuff was some L2A2 ball with a Kynoch headstamp some is 1955 so very early I believe as they only started production of it in Nov of that year it is complete in a 30 rd box also I have the remnants of a 32 rd box (10 missing) dated 1961 Im thinking this may be quite collectable to someone so do I keep it or do I use it ????

Me I would keep the full packet as collectors like full unopened, could be your base to start a collection if your not already doing it once you start it can lead to some interesting chases and stories I started back in 1970 with a 20mm Hispano-Suiza explosive round & case (still have them) it would take a while to log what I have procured on the way........have fun

That all depends on whether you're an ammo collector or not? You can only keep so much.

My last collection of Ordnance (mines and cluster bomblets) got me into a whole new level of trouble about 10 years ago

All inert training or display items but they threw in the component clause as they were really clutching at straws, very worrying at the time though lol

Yes years ago I was going to get a 5am Sunday morning visit from the tactical response group but this was averted by a good friend on the force who said I was legit but had just forgotten to do the 701B form and he was helping me with the paper work (which he was). Thing is TRG do not wait for you to say helo who is there!
