Thoughts on this Standard Modell?
Hello. I am looking at this rifle. Bolt is mis matched, otherwise matching numbers. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Spanish Civil War gun. Imported into the US around 1964. Bores might not be very nice.

Outside it looks OK, how IS the bore?

Bore honestly looks better than most of my other rifles actually. haha. Looks like it has had rounds through it, but otherwise perfect. I'll try to get better photos soon. How do you know it is a SCW rifle?

Might have an mp8 stock cartouche. Most of these SCW were imported by interarms and will usually have an 8mm stamp on the barrel somewhere.

Here's some more pictures. I couldn't find an import mark, but maybe it is very lightly struck. There are no stamps on the stock, but there are what look like initials carved into the finger groves.

Looks good, I'd like that one as a user/collector.

Don't see any stock cartouches, also, I do not see an import mark anywhere on this rifle. Can you please explain how you can identify Spanish use? Thanks.

What I posted, and you quoted, are the two best ways I know.

Spain re-built its inventory and then sold them to Sam Cummings in the mid-1960's. Most Standard Modells you see today are out of that import. Nicely rebuilt, yours does look like the one I had years back(wish I had kept it). However, the bores were not nice.
