Very nice group. The only M1 carbines I've seen are the resin guns for movies. M60s too...

I encountered another variation today. An Elasco tool Republic of the Philippines marked one with lighter shading on the "metal" parts.
I will try to get a photo next time I an that way.

Talking of which........ When they were making Saving Pte Ryan here several years ago, the company had hundreds of WW2 weapons made using compressed shredded rubber (tyres). They were hand painted for realism by kids at a couple of local schools for holiday pocket money. The idea was that after the filming, they could sell them all of at shows etc etc for a vast profit. Alas, the UK authorities got wind of this and put a total ban on that idea - thousands of realistic Thompson guns and Garands etc etc in the hands of the lawless British. So they all sat there. slowly deteriorating..........

There's a website for the purchase of film relics, it's a booming business and very, very profitable.

I have a couple rubber duckies the black 'rubber' version
and a couple that have a greenish fiberglass type lower, and a glassed up A1 upper (charging handle glassed in position, barrel is filled too I think)
these have a standard trigger in place, and magazine catch, take down pins, etc,
seems fragile to use like a ducky
