    Better to just have the chrome bead blasted away and the pistol phosphated. Or blued over the fine bead blasting., If the steel is pitted, then it is what it is but with some protection, it isn't coming back. Brush painting sunkorite. Well....., you could but i'll never adhere to chrome, believe me!
