Very expensive knife at his hip there...seldom seen and usually the handle is a bit less than more. I had the pleasure of repointing one some time back for a dealer locally, it sold very well even after that.

Pretty much a carbon copy of the famous F S the brits used.
Both knives Jim are good pricey sellers I brought a F S years ago and it was a hefty price I paid but it is as unissued as you can get.

Yes but the handle is made of a cintered material (Aluminum?)that didn't fare well with time. Someone here will know for sure. It sort of just turns to dust under some conditions and a good one can be hard to find. The blades are good...I forget if the scabbard was present or not.

The first and second pattern F/S knives had handles made from brass, like this one of mine (2nd pattern). The third pattern had a handle made from cast aluminium alloy (rubbishy aluminium/pot metal). There were a few with wood handles. I'm not sure if the American made versions had brass and aluminium handles or just aluminium?

Nice knife F-10 
here is my F S and scabb with the tags cut off as most are by the troops the blade appears blued but may just be stained that way to stop reflection has rather a sharp point.

I'm reluctant to mention this F10 but the one you've pictured looks suspiciously like the ones of recent Indian(?) manufacture that have been offered for sale by a dealer in the U.K.
