That's a beautiful rifle indeed. Should serve you well in the competitions.
I have a question! Was the conversion to No4Mk2 trigger done by Fulton's or at an earlier FTR?
I ask this because I was under the impression that the No4Mk1* rifles became No4Mk1/3; where as the No4 Mk1 became the Mk1/2.
The photo of the left side of the receiver shows clearly that it's marked No4 Mk1*/2

Fultons did the trigger conversion to Mk 2, and yes I believe the correct nomenclature would be No.4 Mk1/3?
The bottom line is the rifle is now out of service and has been rebuilt for target shooting, so I suppose it doesn't matter what Mk's it sports.

I think Fultons used an already converted action, as they have a good many of them! Then built the rifle from mainly new parts or existing factory original parts including the barrel!

Still use it for the odd service rifle comp Ray, but with time on my hands now I have been giving all my target rifle stuff an outing.
Realised I hadn't shot my L39 for a couple of years!
