Has the frame got any signs of a repair inside it (behind where the serial should be)?

Is it a scrapped/re-welded (over the serial) frame mated to a orphaned slide & barrel? The number on the frame could have been filled completely, so there was only the one number on the de-act certificate? (All guessing!)
