    Good to know.
This leaves me with my own question about my marks.
I'll shoot the lady next Saturday and keep an eye on each shell.

Well Cinders, I'm a lucky guy with my neighbours.
They are all hunters or military.
No trouble with guns at all.
We already have a defence plan around our block in case.......
Put up joking, but it is really good.
We have firing positions on road level, on the first and second floors and we can cover 360° around our homes and the road going in between for at least 200 meters in both directions.
Lots of fun going through the "plan" during our BBQ afternoons.

Glad you found the problem. I had a similar mark appearing on Kragicon cases, but I know it was my doing. After I got my Krag I also got a good deal on a 30-40 Improved reamer. I was going to ream the chamber out, put the reamer in as far as it would go with its larger shoulder and lightly turned it with my fingers. Then I thought, wait, I better read the CMPicon rules. Krags have to be in their original chambering. Operation canceled, but it did leave a mark like yours. I've reloaded the cases many times without any problem.
