Help plz !! Lee Enfield 1917 BSA

there is a "T" stamp on top of my receiver as well as an "F" stamp. But JUST those two letters no FTR or FR for being repaired. It seems to be original minus being sporterized. Its a Canadian icon

issued 1917 BSA SHTLE. it was found in an attic behind things and everything matches and has NO refurbished / reissued date stamp on it other then the number 17 on side.

Show us the whole rifle. Only then can we tell you what you may have. Is it a full complete No1 with C broad arrow stamps or a sporter with a bit of rear handguard attached.

Thx Jim...its just a sporter but ive wanted one since a kid now that im a big baby LOL no way im getting rid of it. Very interesting story behind it too.

It also still retains the hard to find stock marking disc, sometimes they have marks on the reverse. Have you looked?

Was that canadian acceptance mark a post WW2 marking?

I believe those are wartime.

The C Broad Arrow property mark in that form originated around 1907, IIRC.
