Yes its a Canadian
acceptance mark im assuming dated 1917 since that was the year the rifle was made...i have a disc on rifle that's original to it but sadly nothing marked on other side. ALL serials match on it and NOT forced stamped but no markings that i can see on stock. It all fits tight like a glove. Sadly years and years ago it was sporterized[COLOR="black"]

They were done when there were thousands around so there was no loss. Now it's 70+ years and we wish they hadn't been done... There's a few here that still haven't dropped by with info of what your markings mean. I think they'll be along yet...
