Nice,
I wonder how many of those guys on the LCVP survived the landing.

Nice,
I like the service dogs.
I didn't count how many pictures.... but the 10th from the bottom, copied here.
Anyone see anything odd about this carbine?

Wonder if that stock is French
? French police still use stocks with M1
Carbine style slots on their Ruger Mini's. Don't remember if the pictures I've seen of those had a "sling well" on the left side, or not. - Bob

The photo is backwards. You can see the slide on the wrong side and no sling swivel.
P.S. 1st. post for me in a while. Feeling a lot better !!
Best regards.....Frank

Well it's about time there you old goat. You have to stop doing this to the rest of us old timers. Our tickers aren't what they used to be. But anyway it's real good to see your back and hopefully healing fast and well.

Frank,
Nice hearing your on the road back.... You milked it long enough !
Now you know the detrimental effects from crossing paths with Kryptonite.
There's nothing wrong with Slow and easy..
Now ante up and buy something Sparkly for Sarah.....

Charlie

Hey, that last 'cut' M2 was neat, with an original M16
pistol grip in the fore position and an AK sling loop on the little 'butt'.

Especially since I started on the original Culver forum. That had to be about 1998.
