Strange GR and FTR'd marked No.1 Mk.III* with Australian markings?

Saw this rifle put up for auction from a German gun dealer ... I've never seen a GR rifle from 1918 with dual (?) Australian markings, both D/|\D and D with broad arrow in it, plus an FTR marking on top? Why wouldn't the Australians have a Lithgow made rifle, and what for the double marking?

I keep telling this but when you get pooled Ordnance resources, you will ALWAYS end up with each others kit especially if it is identical. Such as Brens and rifles from the 8th Army, Same in Korea, Same in Malaya and so on.....and on......... and on. Same as ammunition, Land Rovers etc etc. Who cares that the Malay Army go on ops with UK ammo? Or the poms use Australian made Land Rovers....... or Australians are using UK made L4 guns?
