Korean War newspaper March 29 1951
I had this newspaper in a drawer and decided to frame it for display.
Took it to the local Hobby Lobby (great folks BTW) and had mats cut and Plexiglas
placed on either side as to not obscure the back.
Interesting subject matter given the current situation but here is the interesting part.
About half way thru the process the gentleman that is helping me notices something amazing.
March 29 1951 is the date on which he was born. He smiled and asked if he could take a photo of it.
I think it made his day and it helped mine to see the look on his face.

I find it amazing that my father was called up for his National Service in the early 1950s, during the Korean War, and the problems with North Korea still haven't been resolved today in 2017. Fortunately, as it turned out, my father was classed as medically exempt from military service or I may not be here today.
