I have nothing even close nor any pattern formed around it.

Thanks for checking! It's still in its original configuration and doesn't seem to have seen much use so I'm not surprised.

Why not show us some pics here then? We love an original condition rifle...

Model 1896 Krag
rifles, #94,559 and #94,604, were destroyed on 5/17/1929, at the New Cumberland (Pa.) Depot.
Those were the closest numbers to your rifle, listed by Mallory, in "The Krag Rifle Story", 2nd edition, appendix tables.
It doesn't tell you anything about your Krag's service, but, I'm glad it missed that sad fate!

Thank you very much! I'm not especially a Krag
guy but since the rifle was in its original 1896 configuration and in high condition with a perfect bore, I couldn't resist. The seller really wanted the cyq P.38 I had which had been surprisingly inexpensive and nothing remarkable. He even threw in a bayonet and scabbard to clinch the deal so I went away a happy man. Among my junk, I have some M1887 slings and a rod kit so now I'll keep the Krag. Usually when I run across decent original Krags, they turn out to be old VFW rifles with sewer pipe bores.
My generation is still struggling with the computer age and posting pix is an art I have yet to master.

Can't imagine wanting a Spreewerk that bad, but whatever...I'm a US type collector so of course I can't see it.
