    Enfield Revolver question

I am not certain as where to place this post, as this is about an Enfield Revolver and not a Lee Enfield Rifleicon. I would be more than happy to place this in the correct forum if I am corrected, but here it goes. I have a '41 Enfield revolver in .38 S&W. I have really justs started to look around the internet, and found that mine is lacking a crown on the right side and has what looks like a DT* in place of the crown. The pistol is an import from Englandicon through GSAD. And I was wondering what a crownless one of these revolvers meant.

    Thanks for your time!

The DT* you mention is actually an intertwined DE logo (for the Enfield factory) and the T is the figure 1 while the * indicates that it is a Mk1* variant of the pistol. It's a cheaper wartime method of marking the pistols. You could put a couple of pictures up on the 'OTHER PISTOLS' thread where there is a lot of info on these little pistols that might interest you. You won't win any shooting prizes but they're good all-round what we used to call '.....just do as you are fuxxxxg-well told - or else.....' pistols
