I wish my search for the Peeps and clip was a little easier. I hate spending hours playing hunt and peck when I have a ton of work on the bench. Interesting thing the only butt plates on Numrich are trapdoors under the 1922 listing. Any suggestions on where to search would be appreciated. The clip is running around $150 but like you say finding one is anyones guess. I have seen parkerized but few and far between.I'm not gonna be picky as long as the "M2" is there. One thing I still need to find out is with serial #17704 is the Lyman 48 (C) or (B) correct.I believe the early models had the "B", but I can't find any info on the serial number to know if it's an early or late.

Thers another thing on this one that I believe will mess up it's worth.....Hand scribed number on bolt is NOT the serial number. So it could be a bolt out of another piece or they scribed something else. Serial number 17704.....Number on bolt 2605.

Anywhooo thanks for reply....I'm wasting too much time chattin'

    Thanks
    Rick
