Bit of a gaff that one Gill, fancy volunteering anti drone patrol with your Enfield this weekend Gil I hear the chip pan has been commissioned....
What to take, I might take my Springfield A4 for "area air defence", anyone got a semi automatic shotgun for close in engagements...

Sadly the "public market" drones like DJI and their inherent capability in payload weights, are causing a massive problem and concern in the security industry. One landed on the Japanese PM's home two years ago loaded with cesium from the village where the tsunami hit land first near their nuclear power plant. The Japanese Government promised the locals they would be able to move back to their village once it was cleaned up.............still not back in 2017.
Sad story, but shows the capabilities of something so small and undetectable:
