Wow $809 for. A Savage Lee-Enfield!

Holy Bat Caves Batman! And I thought I was taken to the shower at just under $400.00 for the Savage Lee-Enfield I just picked up.

Classic has just listed a batch of Lee-Enfield No4 Mk1 for British $799.99 + 25.00 for Long Branch and + 50.00 for Savage. Yikes!! And they don't even know how good the bores are!

They are the crap that was rusting at SAMCO. Worst part is they will sell out quickly. They likely paid Century $300 each tops

High prices seem to be the norm now. Was at a show last weekend and a pretty beat 50 LB was over a grand, nuts but what do I know.

Replacement mags and uncheck bores... you don't even know it they have matching numbers anywhere - you know the mag isn't $850 just blows me away

Even worse than these were the RC Mausers they sold for $900-$1,700

Gezz Louise! Why so high? that's $516/$715 US and from what I've been looking at here in the US the past 3 months would be a really nice 4mk1

To bring this into prospective. Last year I purchased an early (1942) No.4 1* Savage with a mint bore, matching numbers. The cost? £250.
OK this is in the UK.
