Chinese Type 24 8mm Mauser
This is a new one on my ran across a type 24 Chinese 8mm Mauser. I didn't know such a thing existed. something new every day. Really cool looking rifle. Anyone have one of these? I'm curious on their accuracy. Mulling over buying it just to have one.

It is very hard to find one with a decent barrel. They were not well cared for and tend to be "projects".

As stated, most have poor barrels due to corrosive primers, how's the one you seek?

"The bore is frosty" according to the add on Giunbroker. After reading more on them I think my money is better spent on something else. It would be a cool conversation rifle but I don't really talk to people about my firearms LOL
Heres the rifle: http://www.gunbroker.com/item/687386066

The Seller would like to get $895.00 for the rifle, yeah I think I would rather get another Springfield or Enfield

By the way, Bill, my company has a daughter company in SD. I never come to the US, other than during exhibitions, because I'm too productive in Germany
and other "Hun"-speaking countries.
But the next time that should happen, I'll come check if you got your Persian;-D

Frosty means rusty or pitted. If it ain't good or excellent I'd pass personally.

The Phoenix SAR will have 1-2. They sell around $200-400 range. Most are wall hangers and almost all have bad bores. You can re-barrel them and dump bucks into them, but I would rather find a nice '03. Good luck.
PS-- I bought a M98 trigger guard off Gun Parts Co. It was Chinese. Lots of parts out there. A huge dump came in 1990 and got parted out. I now know who got the parts dump.
