We're between Beaumont & Port Arthur and had 42" from Friday afternoon to Wednesday morning, no water in our place but the streets were flooded until Friday after. Found out a lot of the problems were caused by pumps in low areas that could not be refueled due to high water and ran out right when they were needed the most. A friend 8 blocks over had 8" and our church had 16". We were very fortunate!
