It's definitely silver. It's marked as such on the back.
My buddy buys and sells gold/diamonds/silver for a living -- usually just paying spot price for jewelry. I got a nice kick out of telling him I got about 5 times spot price on this .
I've been going to auctions to raise a little side cash and I've come across some neat things. I gotta say, it's hard selling stuff that I want to keep though haha. I did way overpay for a WWII machete...guess I'll keep that one.
