"flash hiders" are a restricted part here in the UK
. Definitely not for sale...(if you can define.... flash hide,,, flash suppressor,,, grenade launching muzzle attachment.... muzzle break ... (muzzle breaks (as long as they don't reduce the flash) are legal..... if Plod. could tell the difference)
its one big can of worms.... so many grey areas in a law that can take your liberty for 5 years!!!!!

Thanks for that Skip, we'd have to figure that out. Terminology perhaps? Muzzle cone? Bayonet standard?
HOH, this is exactly where my head is...now, to the US, I'd likely need a business middleman...importer's licence...I do have a friend that could explain it to me. I'd need to find one at the Halloween show coming up then. That's my thought. I still have one in need too.

This is where I point out the obvious 'rose by another name' resolution. Name for what it does - attach the foresight to barrel - and call it a 'foresight mount'. Anyone challenges that; have them try to prove that it significantly reduces the flash using a photographer's light meter.

Fleabay states in our land no parts to be sold but anyone with the command of the English language can scr*w it around so it does not flag and people know what your selling, I learnt after a few pulled sales how to describe an item that would pass scrutiny yet still give enough info for those that required the item to buy it.

I say that '.....you've got to speculate to accumulate' BAR. I do it all the time with lenses and that's a BiG money outlay that only comes back in dribs and drabs. And then there's those truly nerdy people that ...... sharp intake of breath followed by '..... 'ow much...., I think I'll look for an original one'. They ain't going to find another - that's why they're looking at yours. But you can't tell them. I've seen it with lenses. But I keep their names and addresses and when they come back a second time, the price has shot up. Ho, ho, ho......, did it only last week with a Scout Reg OG lens.

I fully expect that too Peter. I think this may work though. Problem will be initial cost as I ain't makin' them myself. The manufacturer is a gun guy though...

The problem would be that it is already documented in parts books as Flash Eliminator; I believe, and you would be replicating that part.

But you can lawfully possess 1000 of them and Bren ones if they were removed from a decativated weapon(s) where they are permitted. There is a Crown Court case to substantiate this
