Usually enjoy your input, it's usually on the mark and very helpful. Not so this one.
As others have commented, this is a free subject space. It's a good idea as it broadens the topics and allows people to realise that there's more to them than a single interest. I don't care much for Gridiron, but I respect the North Americans for their following of the sport, much as the Canucks for their passion for fast violence on ice thinly disguised as hockey. Ditto the Europeans and "the world's football.' Listening to people's sporting passions gives me a feeling for how they tick, and that's interesting, to me.
Not liking some one else's passion is similar to saying if you don't follow my interest in firearms, then you don't know what you're talking about. And that's just silly.
