Totally off topic.
I grew up in Hornsby shire. (see the second link). I would almost put money that the bottom photo was taken in Old Man Valley down behind the swimming pool. as an aside in Old Man Valley in the 1980's there were a couple of old homeless men living in humpies. I had always thought Old Man Valley had been a depression era campsite but that was "Hopeville" further out towards Hornsby Heights. to this day there are still people living in the bush/in caves etc around Hornsby shire.

There use to be a homeless man living near me here, use to known as "tramps" in the U.K., years and years ago who was said to be an ex serviceman. He never caused any problems or trouble but the one odd thing about him was when ever he wanted to go anywhere he always insisted in walking right down the centre of the road. I don't think that he ever got run over but it always seemed odd that he should always walk dead centre down the road. This would be in the 1970's when the roads were slightly quieter than they are now.
