It was fabulous Dick... thanks for asking ...
Three weeks in Kenya on the Laikipia plateau and the Mara which borders along the Serengeti, complete with a hot air ballon ride for my wife on her birthday.
It was a cathartic life experience and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the stress and anxiety the world seems to be in nowadays.
I'll try to post some pics in the next few weeks once I get around to editing some of the files footage.
Regards,
Doug

Doug,
Sounds great mate...........but I would go as long as there were no mobile signals anywhere

A google search reveals a trip of a lifetime, depending on your interests. Many choices to pick from. I'm sure on the Bucket list of many.
A couple of pictures and links until Badger can organize his own from the experience.
A side note: I've always dreamed of heading to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the tip of northern Maine, to see the rocky shorelines and see the incoming and out going tides of the Bay of Fundy. Maybe even Oak Island and the money pit. Been interested in that since reading the story in Readers Digest when I was young.

It certainly is a beautiful country............not everywhere, but most of it.
Oak Island.....now that will take the thread elsewhere. They hype it up on the trailers and then you watch it and they seem to get nowhere. I suppose thats the same for last 200+ years then!!

Never mind Oak Island, go see the rest though. Just don't spend too long there...
