I doubt it. That's the ancient inspiration for the modern quote, "Kill them and let God sort them out." More likely, "Dona nobis pacem" from the Agnus Dei.

Over the eons it morphed into the modern lingo still means the same "Get the objective, kill the enemy when ever possible, establish a foothold, of the dead God will sort those that are worthy"
