    Do not forget that the Norwegians had the 1911 as their side arm from 1915 to after WW2. The Germanicon army started production of the 1911 during the war.They made their own version of it and I am sure that a company like Raufoss in Norwayicon still making ammo could give you some insight. Then their is Argentinaicon making their own version of the 1911. They sold a number of them to Great Britainicon during the war. Used mostly by the OSS. I would not be surprised if ammo made there also went with the weapons.
