Hello

Looking at the rifle displayed, the letters 'dot' on the top of the receiver indicate that this rifle was made by 'Waffenwerke Bruenn', of Bruenn, in Czechoslovakiaicon. The date 1943 speaks for itself. If you could get an authentic Mauser K98kz stock then this would improve the appearance of the rifle and make it look more original. You would need to decide on the replacement stock you use as to whether you want to shoot the rifle or just have it as a display item. I have a K98kz rifle and have had to replace the stock as the original stock started to split just behind the action when I fired it.
