WW1 GERMAN SUBMARINE FOUND IN THE NORTH SEA
This WW1 submarine was found by a team of divers looking for a Polish submarine that escaped the clutches of the Nazis. It is in tremendous condition if you look at the turret gun and the conning tower infrastructure after a 100 years. Nice short video attached

To me this means another group that can be struck off "MIA" and have a known grave. Yes, this one's in great shape...

Amazing!
A prayer for those who have been buried there for a full century.
I would not touch the ship and just make burial a ceremony on the surface.
It happened with the Italian
Sub Sciré, the one that carried most of the special ops guys in the Mediterranean, like those who attacked Alexandria, Gibraltar etc.
They were sunk in 1943 off the coast of Lebanon and were found maybe 15 or 20 years ago.

Just been informed this was a bit of poor journalism from the Express and this was in fact a WW2 sub and would then explain the condition.

In fact the cannon looked a bit too modern, but it was nice thinking of such an olde relict.
Apart from that, the rest remains.
A prayer for those unlucky sailors.

If you listen to the voices and images this is what they should have written about correctly U-166 off the Gulf Of Mexico sunk in WW2 which accounts for the good condition of the gun etc in the Daily Mail this time

try this again
This link should have the film footage of the actual WWI german sub.
Still don't have any idea what happened with the last posting I made??
As I had said in my original post, the Atlantic screen (anti spray deflectors) and anti aircraft gun on the conning tower are 100% confirmation that the U-Boat in the original film are a WW2 boat.

It leaves me wondering how many more ships - and aircraft - and their crews there are waiting to be found resting in those relatively shallow waters off Belgium
and elsewhere in the Channel.
