The picture showing the left side of the receiver ring when blown up 'Might' show a S just above the wood line. The S may be part of a Importers stamp/marking... but very hard to see.
I believe Israeli . The Greek returns I remember had smaller size letters and were stamped between the sling cut out and butt plate, also being on the left side. Korean stocks I have are painted numbers, some with taped on tags written in Korean, but none of mine are stamped numbers. Just going by memory and what I've dug up lately, notes are packed away while she makes the house Christmassssy. She doesn't like my bandoleer tree decorations !!
