Excellent information. I finally bought R.F. Pettinelli's book on the Bodeo 1889 and have been slowly wading through the Italian. It corroborates what you found. The manufacturer R. Fabb d'Armi Brescia is abbreviated from Regia Fabbrica d'Armi Brescia or the Director of Arms Factory Brescia, or more simply put, the State Arms factory at or near the town of Brescia in northern Italy.
