My 1941 Springfield M1 Garand
One of my most beautiful firearms is my 1941 Garand
, SN 301XXX, which I've owned for abut 10 years. Haven't shot it as of yet. While if's beauty is stunning it has been refinished, at some point since WWII, as well as the stock. It's appears to be something like a black Dura-coat finish. The stocks left side wrist stamp says "RA-P", Raritan Arsenal NJ, and under wrist says "P". The bolt and barrel are both Springfield. Bolt was mfg 1952-1957 and the barrel was mfg 1953. Just for it's beauty it should be worth about $125! LoL Ashamed to say what I paid for it but I really liked it and it was soooooo purdy!
My cell phone indoor pic does not do justice to the rifle. I had to edit pic to get rid of most of the bad photography. Needs to be done out of doors!

My cell phone in an indoor setting doesn't do the rifle justice at all! I adde on the flash suppressor on for the "cool look" feature!

The cool feature is misplaced, belongs on someone's "D" model. Should have a gas cylinder lock...round top...
