Receiver Ring Damage on Underwood

Called the seller -- an extremely helpful and pleasant gentleman. He says SN is 3385XXX -- in the SG range but he could not see the maker stamp under the rear sight so it might be an S'G'. Barrel is an 8-44 Underwood (replacement) with Blue Sky stamp. T-1 stock patina appears legit but stamps missing -- sanded? No idea on the internals. Nice looking rifle. . . .
